Jamie Walter
Jamie Walter is the principal consultant and works frequently in collaboration with a variety of other specialists and consultants, including Certified Turnaround Professionals, Attorneys, Petroleum Engineers and specialized petroleum consultants on both general business engagements and in cases involving the upstream oil industry.
In addition to consulting, Jamie’s professional background includes having served as Vice President of both publicly traded and private held exploration and production companies, as well as serving as President of a Dallas based operating company active in the East Texas Cotton Valley drilling boom. He was instrumental in successfully taking an oil company public through a reverse merger and assisted in the preparation of the SB-2 document to prepare another oil company for an IPO. He has also served as Director of Operations and later as President of an international benefits brokerage firm, servicing thousands of clients in 13 countries, including Halliburton and Kellogg Brown & Root. Jamie has previously worked as a litigation consultant for Exxon, Texaco and a number of other oil companies and their outside litigation firms, who sought out his expertise in the oil industry, deep knowledge of the Texas Railroad Commission and his practical knowledge of oil and gas law.
Jamie’s scholastic background includes The Kinkaid School in Houston, The Choate School in Connecticut and the University of Texas at Austin, followed by St. Mary’s School of Law and Texas Tech School of Law.
George Walter
George Walter has over 50 years of experience in the oil industry, both internationally and domestically and has managed operations on 5 continents for Exxon, as well as his own domestic operations in various US states. George graduated first in his class from the University of Oklahoma with a Geological Engineering degree, which is a combination of petroleum geology and petroleum engineering. He has served as President of several oil companies, both publicly traded and privately held, and has also served as a member of the Board of Directors for several oil companies. His areas of expertise include petroleum economics, electric log analysis, completions, geology, oil field operations, regulatory compliance and the management of oil and gas companies.
